This picture shows the overall apperance of the clamp. It is very similar to the ones that Hempe made for Craftsman.
The wood is not identified.
The 2 clamping blocks are 10" long.
The mark is a large oval containing the company name. It is very similar to the Craftsman mark.
It looks like the mark is burned into the wood.
The stopped jaw has two bored holes to receive the full diameter of the spindle. Chamfering? T B D
The handles are identically waisted, made separately, and glued to the shafts. The shafts are threaded from one end to the other. There is no stub or peg at the end of the stopped spindle.
