Welcome to news about Wooden Clamps!
The site is dedicated
to those who collect, use, sell, study, or just like all wooden
clamps, and related hand tools. The focus is on factory made
items, rather than individually made. However, some information
on individuals is available.
Here is what is new or changed in 2009 Quarter 3:
- (2009 08 ) Somehow, the entire site was wiped clear. Started
to restore, and discovered my version control and configuration
management schemes need work. Of the roughly 1000 internal links,
only 6 are still broken; most of these are missing images, and
the rest are typoes. Next step is to check external links. (I
think Xenu is a great tool.) If you spot something that needs
attention, please let me know. Thanks.
- (2009 08 30) Added info on Todd, a
new maker of bar clamps, and Brown
Specialty Machinery, a new dealer in Chicago Illinois who
sold Todd clamps. Need more research on the patent involved in
the Todd bar clamp. Need more research on the dates and scope of
the dealer, Brown Speciality Machinery.
- (2009 09 02) Added info on E H

on the dates and scope of the dealer, Sheldon.

- (2009 09 04) Added info on Old Economy
Village, who made furniture for their own use, using wooden

makers, and related information.
