This firm used clamps to make furniture, but (to the best of my knowledge) did not sell them. I do not know if they made their own, or commissioned others to make them.
This photo does not reveal details of
chamfering.
This mark clearly dates after the switch
from Berkey Bros and Gay to Berkey and Gay, in 1873.
This handle bears some resemblance to an
Aldrich, with pronounced transition to the flat end.
As seen in the picture of the whole, the through handle has a slight waist.
