In the 1890s, the Sears catalog offered a line of wooden clamps. It is not known who made them.
In the 1960s, Craftsman brand of Sears offered a line of "instant antiques", including one size each of wooden clamp, try square, and other tools of interest to woodworkers. These were made by Hempe of Wisconsin.
Throughout the mid to late 1900s, Sears also supplied a Craftsman brand of composite clamps. The maker is unknown.
